CA100+ engages companies to improve their climate change governance, cut emissions, and strengthen climate-related financial disclosures. The investor-led initiative puts pressure on publicly traded companies to reduce their emissions in line with the Paris Climate Agreement goals.
CA100+ focuses on 167 companies that are critical to the net-zero emissions transition. Investors are responsible for driving engagement and developing and implementing company-specific engagement strategies.
The participating investors are supported in the process by five investor networks that co-founded the initiative and technical experts. Asset owners who cannot engage directly can sign on to the initiative as supporters of the initiative.
