The Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute is an independent US-based not-for-profit organization that holds the exclusive license for the Cradle to Cradle certification program and methodology. Based in Oakland, CA, it administers its multi-attribute eco-label that certifies a product’s safety to humans and the environment and design.
The institute manages the Cradle to Cradle Certified product standard, reviews the third-party assessments, and issues certifications.
It aims to power the global shift to a circular economy through collaborative initiatives that equip businesses, governments and other stakeholders with the technical solutions and knowledge to innovate how products are designed and made.
