Mistra Carbon Exit is a research program that identifies and analyzes the technical, economic and political opportunities and challenges for Sweden to reach the target of net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2045. The program is hosted by the IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute.
It identifies pathways and policies for how Sweden and Swedish companies can become frontrunners in transforming society and industries. Its work is organized case studies supported by results from the academic work packages that have a high level of involvement from our non-academic partners.
It aim is to make Sweden an example for other countries to follow.
