The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) is a CEO-led international non-government organization (INGO) organization of over 200 international companies. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, WBCSD is a network of 60 national and regional business councils and partner organizations.
Through the transformation of economic systems, the WBCSD works to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Each system transformation is set up as a WBCSD program with supplementary projects.
As a leading global advocate of sustainable business, the WBCSD leverages its strong relationships with stakeholders worldwide to help drive debate and policy change in favor of sustainable development solutions.
