PHIUS certifies and quality assures passive buildings, maintains the PHIUS+ climate-specific passive building standard, trains and certifies professionals, and conducts research to advance high-performance building.  Buildings meeting the PHIUS+ standard use 40%-60% less energy for space conditioning than conventional buildings.
