EFI

EFI runs a number of online databases with data and information on different aspects of European forests, forestry and forest research. EFI supports and promote the dissemination of scientifically sound policy-relevant information on forests and forestry and the building of facilities based on its research.

The EFI databases originate either from projects or EFI's core activities and often represent data used to perform EFI's research tasks.  The programs and facilities encourage interdisciplinary and cross-sector research on forest resources, products and services on a pan-European level.

EFI research provides collective science-based insights at European and regional level to support informed policymaking.
