Urban Nature Atlas

The Urban Nature Atlas is the result of the first systematic survey of nature-based solutions (NBS) interventions.  Nature-based solutions use the natural properties of ecosystems and have the potential to improve environmental quality while contributing to economic activities and social well-being.

The portal and online map provides the most comprehensive survey of nature-based solutions for cities.  The Urban Nature Atlas includes information on around 1,000 NBS interventions in 100 European cities.

It allows for a quick search by icon or an advanced search by various criteria to identify the projects fitting user interest, including challenges addressed, urban setting, and project cost.
